【范文】 What Do Grandparents Expect?
It's a big festival. The grandparents have prepared a big dinner for the family reunion, only to find themselves alone at the table with the gifts from the children on the chairs. How lonely and disappointed the old couple are feeling!
In fact, what old people like them expect from their children and grandchildren is love rather than material stuff. Often the mere sight of their young generations can make them comfortable and satisfied.
The picture reminds me that I, together with my parents should regularly visit my grandparents living alone on the other end of the town. My hugs will surely make them excited and my doing a bit of housework can more or less relax them.
In a word, however busy may be, we should spend more time accompanying our parents and grandparents. Considering the sacrifices they made for us, we should act in return for them.
