We have recently held a class meeting to discuss the importance of respecting our parents because it is one of the traditional Chinese virtues. As most students today are the only child in their family, they often regard themselves as the center of the family, without caring much about their parents. We have listed ten dos to respect our parents, such as remembering our parents’ birthdays, expressing our love and thanks to them, and greeting our parents when they return home.
