Some people think driving children to and from school can save children’s time, so their children can get more sleep. Besides, it is comfortable and safe for children to go to school in a car. Also, the time of being together on the way enables parents to communicate with their children , which benefits their growth.
However, others argue that it results in heavier traffic. And it will lay a burden on parents when they are busy. In addition, children may become more dependent on their parents, losing the ability of acting independently.
In my opinion, schools should offer school buses for young children. For older children, it is up to them to choose whether to take a bus, ride a bike or go on foot. （127 words）
