Dear Tom,
I'm writing to offer my sincere apologies for missing the chance to go climbing with you this weekend.
We're both keen on watching sunrise at the top of the mountain. But what I didn't anticipate before is that to prepare for the drama festival, our team is informed to rehearse the play this weekend in the city hall. I feel terribly sorry once again. Would you be interested in coming to watch our rehearsal this weekend? And if possible, maybe we could go climbing next weekend.
