There is a piece of good news. The twelve boys and their football coach trapped(受困)in a Thai cave are alive. The group has been lost for nine days. Thailand has been looking for them since June 23. The search of the group has been 24-hour news. The boys, aged between 11 and 16, and their 25-year-old coach were lost on June 23. They went into the cave in northern Thailand when it was dry, but there was suddenly heavy rain. This blocked the way to the outside so they were trapped.
The bad news is that the team could be trapped for months. Rescuers(救援者)have to wait until the water goes down. Another way is for the boys to learn to dive. However, none of the boys can swim. Rescuers say they will take food and medicine to the boys for the next four months. They are now trying to put power and telephone in the cave. Two British rescuers said the boys were happy, but very very hungry. A mother of one of the boys saw a video of them and describes her happiness. She said, “I'm so happy that I can't put it into words. " They put fruit and sweet food near the cave each day to thank god.
More than 1, 000 people have worked on the rescue. And many countries sent people to the cave, including Australia, the United States, China and Laos.
