Dear Mr Smith,
I’m Li Hua,  chairman of the Student Union,  writing to invite you to attend the opening ceremony of “Music Week” in our school.
As scheduled,  the ceremony is to be held in the school gymnasium at 6: 30 this Saturday evening,  during which some students will show their hidden music talents. It will start with the School Anthem (校歌), followed by various performances/activities ranging from singing pop songs to playing musical instruments. Believe it or not,  even some school bands will play and sing their original songs,  which can surely be the highlight of the ceremony. I bet this great feast will never fail to impress you with the charm of music. I do hope you could come and have fun with us.
