As we know. April 23rd is World Book Day. Reading plays a significant part in everyone's life. I'm more than delighted to share a meaningful reading activity with you.
Last Saturday a reading activity, whose theme was "Books are Friends", was held in the school library. It started at 9 a.m., lasting 3 hours. At the beginning, the headmaster of our school delivered a speech on how to develop a good habit of reading. And he recommended a book named The Kite Runner to us. After that, students had a further communication with their group members, not only talking about favorite books but also exchanging reading skills. What impressed me most was that we had a video call with Fan Deng, a famous man I admired.
What a meaningful reading activity it was! Reading books broadens our horizons. Love books, for they are our best friends.
